HP 17 by062st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to increase RAM on my  HP 17 by062st - how do I access RAM on this laptop?    I have 4 screws on the back - a;; videos have laptops with 7 screws. It also looks like access may be through the top.

Anyone have suggestions or where I can go to get instructions for this style laptop?

Before removing the memory modules, follow these steps:


1. Shut down the computer.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 32).
5. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 36).
6. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38).
