Hello, on my keyboard the U key got stuck and now doesn't work. I tried to follow the HP video, but the key cap won't click back in place.
Since it's under warranty I contacted HP and instead of sending me a U key and clip, they say that the keys are embedded with the keyboard plate and the whole thing needs to be replaced. GeekSquad thought it was the plastic clip/hinge that broke.
Cannot a single key be ordered?
Thank you for your help!

In most cases individual keys are not supplied. Replacing the whole keyboard ensures that you do not find out that some tiny clip is broken and the new key will not stay anyway.
