Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion 15t-au100 (that I bought at Costco) and the battery is swelling so I bought a replacement and will replace the battery but not sure how to open up the laptop to do this. Can’t find directions online anywhere. And apparently there are tons of versions of the 15t that have very different batteries and different interiors!

David,

Thank you so much for the instructions! That document was exactly what I was looking for.

OK, one more follow up question then.  After all is done, and I am putting the cover back on the laptot, the last step is to slide the CD drive back in but it doesn't go all the way in.  That is, it stops about an 1/8th of an inch from all the way in, and I imagine that it's held up at the internal connector.  I am pressing fairly hard to get the drive to snap into the connector but not sure if I just need to push harder to get it to snap in, or if there is some other impediment that's preventing it from seating correctly and pushing it in harder might damage something.  Any guidance here would be appreciated!
