HP Notebook - 15-bs641tx

After upgrading the BIOS the laptop randomly runs into BSOD, sometimes while booting, while shutting down or while performing my usual tasks and even when the pc is on but I'm not touching it and no program is running.

I'd like to know how to restore my previous BIOS but I don't know what version was installed before updating.

Plug in the power adapter.

Hold down the Windows key and the B key at the same time and keep holding them down.

Press the power button and wait until the laptop responds with a recovering BIOS message before releasing the keys.

That may take almost a minute.

Thank you very much! I was able to find this same method elsewhere after hours of research but all I could find was very long and complicated solutions that would involve loosing my data. I've contacted HP support and after 4 hours of waiting I had still not spoken to a human being, at the end I gave up. The next day they texted me back asking if the service was helpful, total joke.

Anyways the method worked perfectly, very fast as you said and completely solved the issue. Just I'm not sure if the previous BIOS was reinstalled because before starting the process and after I checked what version of BIOS was installed and it was the same, F.73.

Thanks so much anyway!
