How am i supposed to tell which USB port is my 3.0 port? I thought they were supposed to be blue?

Check chapter 2, page 6, of your notebook's user guide for the location of the usb3 port.

Looks like your machine has 3 USB ports, 2 each side but only 1 USB 3.0 port on the lesft which has SS sumbol
