How to tell which USB port is 3.0 when they are not blue?

How am i supposed to tell which USB port is my 3.0 port? I thought they were supposed to be blue?

As stated in my initial post, i do not have any blue USB ports.

Check chapter 2, page 6, of your notebook's user guide for the location of the usb3 port.

Looks like your machine has 3 USB ports, 2 each side but only 1 USB 3.0 port on the lesft which has SS sumbol

That helped me to located it.

 

the USB icon with the SS before it is the symbol for USB 3.0 apparently.
