How to transfer data from dead hp model 11-p010nr to another drive?

The battery has died on the notebook and i want to buy a new computer but first i was going to transfer the data into my portable drive. I am unable to find a drive of any sort on the dead notebook.

I took apart the notebook and didnt see anything that looked like a hard drive or an SSD

I need help. Any kind please.

That's because it doesn't have anything that looks like a traditional hard drive.

Your model has a m.2 SSD -- which is basically a memory stick with a controller chip on it so it will look like a "disk drive" to the Windows OS.

These have their connectors on the ends -- and to connect them to another PC you usually have to buy two different adapters:

1) Adapter to connect a SATA drive to a PC

2) Adapter to connect the m.2 SSD to the SATA drive

And just so you know, you can not copy all the data from that drive to another PC because the OS is part of that and it is not transferrable to another PC.
