I downloaded the Windows 10 (v1803) driver updates and upon running the executable I get an insufficient hardware error. Why? This is the driver explicitly for this model. I need a way to update my drivers and then get the most recent versions of OpenGL, OpenCL, etc.

Hi:
Here is how you can update the onboard Intel graphics driver to the latest version Intel has...
First create a system restore point so you can revert back to the current driver if necessary.
Download and save the Zip file format of the latest graphics driver at the link below.
Version: 26.20.100.6861 (Latest) Date: 5/15/2019
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28783/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=88355
Unzip the file to its driver folder. Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager. Click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category.
Click on the Intel HD graphics adapter listed there.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
Click on Have Disk and browse to the unzipped graphics driver folder>Graphics>iigd_dch (setup information file), click Next and the driver should install.
Be patient because this driver is going to take a while to install.
After the driver installs, restart the PC and you should be good to go.
If you install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA), it should keep your Intel hardware up to date in the future.

I updated to an older version of this driver on My HP Stream 11 Pro G4 wit the Apollo Lake chipset, and installed the Intel DSA, and it found the version I posted here and the driver installed automatically.
That's how I know that the first manual install of the driver is going to take a few minutes to complete.
It seemed the two subsequent auto updates I ran installed faster, but maybe I am wrong.

Hi:
A Pavilion 15z model notebook would have an AMD processor and graphics, not Intel.
An Intel graphics driver will not install in a notebook with AMD hardware.
What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.
Please do not post the serial number.
If your notebook has an Intel 6th gen core processor and the onboard Intel HD graphics, there is a way to manually install the latest Intel HD 530 graphics adapter, but first I need to know the info I requested--full notebook model #/product number.
I am going to be out for a few hours, so I will check back later.
