Would like to add aditional memory, but struggling to find any documentation. No clearly visible memory compartment.
Haven't been able to find a manual on the HP site (just a data sheet)

Hi,
According to service manual your PC supports 16GB of DDR4-2133Mhz RAM (2x8GB)
You should use DDR4 2400Mhz sticks which will run at 2133Mhz. 16GB is what the system has been tested with, but HP DDR4 systems will run with 32GB of RAM (2x16GB)
On page 37 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05505821
You can also look at these HP videos (click on memory modules in list on left)
Let me know if you need any further help,
David

Hi David
Thanks very much for your quick and full reply, I was struggling to find a service manual.
Current Notebook has 4GB and from the diagram it looks as if there are two memory slots (is that right?) which means I can simply add another 4 rather than replace it completely.
Once again many thanks
Jim
