I need to know whether I can upgrade the RAM in the HP Envy X360 15-bp100na and if so what type of RAM it is (like DDR4@2133mhz) and the maximum size it can contain. This will decide whether I will buy this product or not.
Thanks in advance.

It comes with 4 gigs of RAM soldered to the motherboard and one upgrade slot.
Since it is an i5 it appears that the maximum memory is 12 gigs with a DDR4-2400 module in the upgrade slot.
See pages 1-2. Start on p. 35 for memory upgrade procedure. I think the prior 15-bp000 model is illustrated but the 15-bp100 model has the same memory shield. I think you will see a soldered memory bank instead of one of the illustrated slots.
Memory modules (2, SODIMM, DDR4-2400, 1.2-V):
8-MB 862398-855 4-MB 862397-855
(don't know why HP is listing these as "MB" modules they are "GB" modules.)
So bottom line it comes with 4 gigs and you can upgrade it to 8 or 12.
