Hi,

Your notebook supports max 16GB of DDR4 2133MHz RAM (2x8GB)

The RAM runs at 2133MHz. There are two slots and at the moment you have one 4GB module. You could add another 4GB module in the empty slot which should be enough for everyday use and give a boost to the machine.

Example of RAM:

https://www.crucial.in/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-ba021ax#memory

On page 46 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05227786

You can replace the hard drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD which will give a great boost to performance. You can get of your desired brand and capacity.

Example:

https://www.crucial.in/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-ba021ax#ssd

On page 50 of service manual you can see how to replace the drive.

You will then either need to transfer the OS  (clone the drive) or reinstall the OS on the new SSD.

Hope it helps,

David
