Hi,
The notebook supports only M2 SATA3 SSD. So, the WD green will work.
First, you should check if the actual slot is present on the motherboard as sometimes notebooks that did not come with M2 SSD are missing the physical slot.
On page 41 of service manual, you can see the steps to remove the bottom cover.

You can get of your desired capacity. You will need to transfer or reinstall the OS on the SSD for the great performance gain.
Hope it helps,
David

Thanks for the response Sir. I currently have a 500gb wd 3d nand sata 3 ssd as its internal. Is it worth it to replace it with this 480gb m.2 sata ssd considering its size difference? Just in case it supports m.2

You're welcome.
No, not really. The speed of the 2.5" SATA3 SSD will be about the same as the M2 SATA3 SSD so there is no reason to replace it.
Maybe one brand of SSD will be faster than another brand, that would be the only difference.
The size also does not really matter, as the 2.5" SSD is really light.
You could add the SSD if you need the extra space.
All the best,
David
