Only the 14-bs0xx notebook models with the Intel Core processors have M.2 slots that support SATA SSD's only, not NVMe.

The 14-bs0xx models with the Intel Celeron and Pentium processors do not.

That is why you cannot find any M.2 slot on your Intel® Celeron® N3060 notebook.

It really isn't a major issue, since you can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD and that performs equally as well as a M.2 SATA SSD.

You can find the M.2 slot availability information I posted in chapter 1, top of page 3 of the service manual.

Thanks mate.

So the hard drive slots is an obvious one but what about the empty slot beside that, what would you generally use there ?

You're very welcome.

The lower one appears to be for the hard drive, and the one above that appears to be for the optional DVD drive, which chapter 1, page 3 indicates were an option in the model series.

Chapter 3 indicates that different bottom covers are offered in the models with and without an optical drive.
