Hi. I want to upgrade the M.2 SATA 3 Ssd 2280 that came with my pc. I can see the M.2 slot is 2280. I have read the service manual and everything online. I have called Hp.
My Motherboard is HP 86C8 motherboard.
No one can tell me if my motherboard supports M.2 MVNE PCIE SSD or only SATA 3 SSD.
- This list is a general specs of the line of HP 14dqXXXX. But does my motherboard only support SATA 3m? Or also PCI-E X16? Not MVNE?

You can replace exiting M.2 SATA SSD with an M.2 NVMe SSD drive using

Or similar from reputable vendors.
