Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a HP 15-db1002AU laptop. I am wondering if upgrading the RAM to 32 GB (2x16 GB) is possible on this laptop.

 

The Crucial.com website reported that this is possible: (https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-15-db1002au)

However, the Maintenance and Service guide for this laptop (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06245081) reported that the maximum configuration was 16 GB.

Can anyone confirm if 2x16 RAM is possible on this laptop?

Yes you can upgrade to 32GB of RAM

One last question: does the density of the RAM matter? Will both 2Rx8 and 1Rx8 work on the laptop or only 1Rx8?
