Hello @Royale23og,

A specific model/product number would be appreciated. (Please do not post serial numbers on the HP Support Forum)

Information on how to find a laptop's model/product number is detailed in this HP document.

If this is a product you are currently planning to purchase on the Internet, you can provide me with the web page link.

Kind regards,

Eddy

Hello @Royale23og,

This laptop seems to be a CTO (Custom to order) model meaning that upon ordering, you should've been given an option to configure it with a touchscreen.

The touchscreen should work on usage without any additional firmware. You can also check by going to Settings > System > About and reading the information beside Pen and Touch.

If you believe that you ordered for a touchscreen model but received a non-touchscreen model, I recommend requesting for an exchange or return.

Hope this helps,

Eddy
