I have an HP 2000 laptop with Windows 11 on it. The keyboard had a missing key and a few weren't working but the rest of the keyboard was fine. I bought a new one, installed it and all seemed fine. Turned it off, then went to use it an hour later and when booted up the trackpad and keyboard would not work. Had to plug in a USB mouse to dig around and go into device manager uninstall the keyboard piece (and the hidden one) and restarted and again all seemed fine when restarted. THe trackpad and keyboard worked. Shut it down, then came back in an hour to check and the trackpad and keyboard did not work again, so it's been repeat of the steps above. I am having to uninstall the keyboard and restart everytime the laptop is off for a short amount of time for it to work.
