My laptop is = Hp 240 g6
And specs are = i3 7th gen , 4gb ram
I want to upgrade my ram by using the extra ram slot , but i am little confused with =
1. what is the max capacity of laptop and what is the maximum capacity of each slot.
2. I am just thinking to install a 8gb ram stick of 2133 mhz , is my decission is suitable for this laptop.

Hi:
The maximum memory supported is 2 x 8 GB.
If you find that DDR4-2133 memory is hard to find, you can use DDR4-2400, 2666 or 3200 memory which will automatically bridge to 2133 MHz.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info.
