Product: HP 245 G7 Notebook PC (9EC02AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
so I got 2x "8gb Adata DDR4 8gb 2666 hz ram" for my HP 245 G7 Notebook PC which should be compatible according to my reserach but my laptop won't turn on after I added them, Laptop fan keeps turning on and off in a few seconds interval but the laptop won't boot.
I then added the old 2x4 gb ram to the laptop and the it started to work normally but it just does not boot up after I add the new ram.
I checked the compatibility of the ram and yes it is compatible with my laptop. I also tried to turn it on by just adding just one 8gb ram stick but that does not work too. What is it that is causing the problem?
