Hello i have the motherboard LA-A994P and i m planning to upgrade my laptop with the model LA-A999P. Will i have to enter again the laptop's info on the Bios using a dmi tool? Anyone who has done this upgrade and possible problems?

Yes i did a little search there are way more mainboards i can use, my mainboard is LA-A994P with Intel Celeron N2840 processor. The only concern i have is if i must and how to use a dmi tool to make it boot properly as i m going to use a brand new mainboard to upgrade the laptop to an i3 processor.

As far as i know a brand-new laptop motherboard needs preparation to work without prompting a message on startup.
S/N of the machine etc. I have never done this i know there are some special tools out there. If anyone believes i will have a problem please guide me thank you.
