Actually my HP 250 G5 X0R03EA mount 1 bank of 4GB of DDR4 2133MHz.

Is this motherboard limited to 2133MHz version or not? How are the versions supported?

How much memory can I install to upgrade my laptop?

If your notebook has an Intel Core 6th or 7th generation processor, you can install up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR4 memory in your notebook according to chapter 1 of the service manual.

You can install DDR4-2400 CL17, DDR4-2666 CL19 or DDR4-3200 CL22.

 

However, any memory faster than 2133 MHz will automatically bridge to 2133 MHz because that is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
