I am using Hp 630 notebook Core I5 model with 2GB of RAM,i would like to upgrade my RAM so kindly suggest me the size of RAM and DDR3/DDR4 to be used.

That is correct.

 

With a 64 bit operating system the 8 GB of memory will be 'seen and used' by Windows.

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1, on page 4.

 

2 x 4 GB of DDR3 memory is supported.

System type : 32 bit

Scenario for me looks something weird,Got confused which configuration suits me.

 

Kindly suggest me the good configuration, that suits me.

If you are running a 32 bit operating system, then the maximum amount of memory that Windows can 'see and use,' is 4 GB.

 

If you don't plan on converting to a 64 bit operating system, if your notebook has 1 x 2 GB of memory and the other slot is empty, just buy another DDR3-1333 2 GB memory module.
