Hi,

I am facing keyboard layout problem while typing, wrong characters typed or characters are interchanged with other keys on the keyboard from what is particularly mentioned on the key.

 Like if I press dash(-) it prints slash(/) or vise versa.

I have tried by changing seversl languages from settings but not got fruitful result.

Kindly advise how to solve this issue, Thanks

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns

 

I suggest you run a Keyboard Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality of the Keyboard

 

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the Notebook.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. 
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Keyboard
