I have an HP Elite USB-C Dock G3, PN 937394-001, with SerNO that starts with TWP
Putting this serial number in a warranty Check yields no results or no product found. I called HP, and they said this product does not a correct P/N. But clearly this seems to be a genuine HP part. Well, at least on the surface it does.
The issue with it is the internal connector port is damaged, and will not allow for extra monitors to be used. I can take the cable, move it another HP Dock of the same model, and the cable is just fine.
Are others here having problems getting warranties for their broken elite docks, and if so, where they purchased directly from HP? .

Apologies for jumping in unannounced.
It's weird - I think the part number reflects the same type of part but perhaps one sold from "other" than HP. There are 'net references for this part number - various sellers and information. These are based here in the USA, I guess, though I did not actually do more than search for the part and then gaze at the results...
I did find internal references to HP parts as follows - using country code USA.
There were actually three, but PartSurfer balked at the third product number.
All parts noted for introduction in 2017

and
https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=2FZ61UT
I found a reference on the 'net to the customer's part number associated with product number.
The item was located at a third party "parts" seller (and marked as "sold").
HP Elite USB-C Dock G3 2FZ61AA#ABA P/N# 937394-001
Reference ONLY - NOT a recommendation: https://picclick.com/HP-Elite-USB-C-Dock-G3-2FZ61AAABA-P-N-283020829225.html
What does that mean?
Honestly, I don't know, though it does appear the part is "HP" in origin. ?
We could forward this to the moderators for review.
And, that's all I have to offer. Smiling.
