I have a HP Envy M7 Notebook Computer. I am having a problem with the battery that will no longer hold a charge for more than an half hour. I am seeking a replacement. I cannot find this a replacement battery on the HP parts finder.
According to the owner’s manual this computer can use the following batteries:
849315-856 3-cell 61whr t.36 Whr Li-ion
849314-856 3-cell 41whr,3.63 whr Li-ion
This is an internal battery and requires the computer to be taken apart to put in the new battery
I prefer the high capacity battery, if possible.
I am asking if someone knows where I can locate one of these batteries of if the part number changed or if there is a compatible battery that will work.
Thanks

Yes, I convinced HP to send me a new battery, even though it is not a customer replacement part. They wanted me to ship it all back to them. But they finally sent me a new battery and I replaced it myself. It was simple.
Battery Bar Code: 6FRJKN2GW252KJ
Battery Part number: 849315-856
3-cell, 61-WHr, 5.36-WHr, Li-ion
Part number: 849314-856
3-cell, 41-WHr, 3.63-WHr, Li-ion
Both will work perfectly with your computer.

I need Help with a immediate replacement for HP ENVY m7 Notebook, PART 849314-856 ASSY BATTERY 41WH 3.63,
A HP sales agent confirmed part was in stock on 10/18 charged my Amex almost $100.00. I keep getting the run around by HP, there is no such battery in stock when I was assured it would ship in a few days. Yesterday an email advised notice they may have the Part a month later on November 15th 2018.? This is not even certain. HP never should have charged me for a battery that does NOT exists anywhere. My laptop is shutting off, and useless. How can HP sell laptops without any batteries available.
I have tried for two weeks to find a battery no one sells. Digusted with HP
