So I think my issues might have started a while ago. Secondary monitor connected through Dell docking station via USB C port was disconnecting and conne ting randomly. Then after windows 11 updated is stopped connecting so I thought it was an issue with the docking station or the drivers. I have reinstalled and updated everything I could think of. Docking station works fine with another notebook so i figured it was the port drivers. It never occurred to me that USB port is disabled altogether but after plugging in my phone via USB C it would not show a charge I think my port is completely disabled and I can't figure out what to do with it. Component diagnostic came up failed.

Hi@Lilkakilka,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing USB C port issues with the HP Envy Notebook. As you have already tried running the diagnostics and it failed with a Failure ID, so it could be a hardware issue with the port on the PC. We have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out.
HP provides repair or service options for out of warranty products as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support for all service options.
