Product: HP NOTEBOOK 1000 PC

Hi, I have an old laptop that I don't need anymore but can't sell either. It has a broken chassy and over heats and has some personal data. I want to convert this laptop's motherboard into an all-in-one pc using an external monitor.
Laptops specs:
Laptop name: HP NOTEBOOK 1000 PC
CPU: Intel Core i3 2370M ->Wish to upgrade

Motherboard: Intel HM75 chipset, rPGA988B, PPGA988, 
Model: 1854
Ram: 2gb ddr3 (Wish to upgrade to 8gb ddr3)
Storage: 512gb hard drive (wish to upgrade to an ssd)
I want to upgrade the CPU to a 2nd or 3rd gen intel core i7, one that is either dual core or quad core. (i7 2640qm or i7 3740qm)
Please give me guidance on which cpus can I upgrade my system to, I will find them on ebay.

Please guide me

That is not returning any results. Should be a model number 2000-xxxx.

Top processor options:

 

Intel Core i5-3230M 2.60-GHz processor (3.0-MB L3 cache,
dual core, 35 W)

 

Manual 

 

An i7 dual core might work  but can't be guaranteed.
