Hp Omen 17 keyboard ghosting

I have a omen 17 which is only a week old. There is a major problem with the keyboard. Most of the time, when i press 3 keys at once, the last one does not register. While a few combinations such as qwe, asd, qwd, wad, shift + wd etc. work, many many others dont. 4 key combinations are even rarer. External keyboards work perfectly fine. I tried usşng the device manager to remove the standart ps/2 keyboard and restart the computer but it did not help. Also tried to update the drivers from the same place but they were already up to date.

It's hardware related issue then. Since your laptop is only 1 week old, you're likely still within the 7-14 day return policy window, which is much faster and more reliable than going through warranty repair.

If you can't get replacement because policy ended, then use hp warrenty and get keyboard replaced. Before taking any action in warrenty repair,  contact hp customer care first and ask opening your case, require documents, etc.

Are you sure it cant just be a software issue? I dont really want to go the replacement way since it will take some time and ill have to reinstall everything. But id still take that over having this problem.

Or could it be the way it is? I just assumed it would have full NKRO.

Best option is replacement only. It is hardware related issue because External keyboards work perfectly, same Windows, same drivers, same game.
