HP Pavilion - 15-cw1027la
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I bought my notebook (Hp Pavilion 15-cw1027la) on April 15, 2021. After a few weeks of use, I realized that if I used the notebook without plugging it, and if it got to the "battery saving" point (below 10%), then it doesn't matter if I plug it in, it will keep discharging until it shuts down. Only if I let it shutdown and re-plug the charger for some (long) minutes am I able to turn it on and it starts charging normally again.

I honestly didn't have time to contact support before. Pandemic and all, this notebook is my tool to work, my source of income, so I couldn't take time off to send the notebook to be checked by a support service. I would just use it plugged in and guessed the issue would be solved by some update.

However, now I have the need to spend time without plugging it, using the battery and I'm facing the same issue as before but I just found out that my warranty has expired five months ago. I hope there is a solution or an exception because I really need to use it and I has been acting up in this way since day one.

This issue was also raised by another user from Argentina (as I am) in this link https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Hp-pavilion-15-cw1027la-batter...

Thank you in advance and I hope you can help me.

Marisol
