Hello everyone,
I have a Hp Pavilion 15-ec2021n gaming laptop. My laptop was working just fine for the first year. However, lately it has started causing some problems. The laptop overheats and operates on 65-75 C on normal usage such as chrome and MS word. The battery drops to zero very fast, as well. When I first bought it, it used to last up to 7 hours for light usage. Nowadays, however, it only last for 3 hours maximum considering that I have changed the battery from Hp authorized service shop. When gaming. the laptops heat reaches 95C and starts to lag and drop FPS.
I have done the following to fix the problem, but observed no noticeable results:
- I changed the thermal paste and used MX4 ensuring enough paste was applied to both CPU and GPU.
- I updated the BIOS and Drivers to the latest versions.
- I changed my laptop's GPU to the NVIDEA Geforce RTX 3050.
I hope anyone can help me solving this issue.
Thanks in advance.
