Sorry for the late reply and thanks for replying.
I have reviewed the links you provided and it seems as if my laptop supports Dramatic graphics however, I've noticed there is a 3rd party bios that has been modified to support fixed graphics to be able to switch between the card. Could this damage my laptop?
Thanks!

It looks like you were interacting with @DavidSMP, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out,
I'm the Riddle_Decipher & I'm at your service.
I reviewed your concern and the entire conversation, did some research and here's what I recommend:
If the device is designed to support switchable graphics it wouldn't damage the laptop in anyway.
(And it seems like your laptop supports this feature, however, it is system managed and cannot be modified by the user)
I hope that answers your query.
If you would like to thank me for my efforts to help you,
feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below,

Hi @Riddle_Decipher,
Thanks for the reply I was wondering if this would damage my laptop,
http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/dv6z-61xx-unlock-fixed-dynamic-switchable-graphics.640466/
It is a modied BIOS and a beta software by AMD (I believe) and you can enable Fixed Graphics mode in the BIOS allowing
you to switch between them.
Thanks!

Thank you for responding,
It's great to have you back 😉
I'm afraid we do not recommend download BIOS from 3rd party or manufacturer's websites,
the best and only way suggested by HP is to download the BIOS from HP's very own website: Click here to find and install the same.
And yes, I must add that it may cause damage to the computer if downloaded directly from the AMD website as well.
feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon,
followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution' as it would help the community gain more knowledge,
And Have a great day Ahead!
