I have recently bought my new laptop for college. I have come to put a USB in and it will not go in the port? I'm not really sure what to do as it is from Argos? Would this come under warrenty/gaurentee with HP or do i need to go in to argos and speak to someone? It was a usb for a wireless mouse and i thought the problem may be with that but my iphone usb also will not go in.

Thanks in advance.

I ran into a very similar problem with a new HP x360 convertible -- and the issue is that the USB ports are smaller than what we are used to.  There is a little "door" on the USB port that you have to push DOWN to open the port enough to insert a USB stick.  Once you do that, the stick will go in without problems.
