Went to plug computer into wall and instantly sparked as well as smoked out of port. Luckily I was right next to it and was able to unplug immediately. I see this is a common issues with these notebooks. Does this always require a motherboard replacement? Has anyone had luck with HP owning up to a potentially dangerous situation that could have had a far worst impact than my PC being unusable? Always used HP and still have my envy running from over 8 years ago seems out of character. Any insight to potentially getting this thing back and running would be great!
