New laptop asked me to make outlook account. I did. And them a screen popped up saying that my outlook account password was my New device password. I had just got the laptop and stayed up skitzing through the customization of my newdevice ALL night. And I forgot too tell you that i half-added my outlook account. Don't know passwords.didn't set up recovery app. Don't have the phone with that number. I NEED IN. MY LAPTOP!!!! please

Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that your computer is prompting you for the power-on password, is that right?

 

You would have to contact HP phone support for a hardware service as the motherboard may require a tattoo/Bios Flash.
