Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V9A0AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I have an HP Victus 16-e0023nt laptop. When I opened the computer's cover. I saw that there was a second SSD slot. I was wondering if the second slot actually works because I couldn't find any info about it. Let's say it is working, and I want to buy a new SSD for the empty slot, what should I look for? Like what size it supports or its speed.

Thanks in advance.

Hi:

The service manual indicates that there is support for two M.2 SSD's.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

The PCIe version of both slots is Generation 3.0.

The service manual does not specify how large a capacity NVMe SSD you can install in the empty slot, but there should be no limit as long as you buy a single-sided NVMe SSD (memory chips on one side of the circuit board.

HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in the model series.
