HP Envy x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-ac0000 (8Z200AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I bought my HP Envy x360 from Currys in January 2025 , and I expected the warranty to reflect correctly however its showing that it has started in September 2024 and ended in April 2025.

I expected the warranty to last until end of January 2025.

I contacted Currys and they told me to dispute the warranty status through the HP portal, but I am unable to do this for whatever reason, there is no form appearing to me to fill. I also contacted HP on 0207 660 0596 from another similar topic here and they were also not able to help, just telling me that if its not bought from HP, then they cannot "upgrade" my warranty. I asked for a statement so if I have any issues I will pick up with Currys but is there really no way to reflect my correct warranty status on the HP system/apps ?

I have proof of purchase/receipt.

Thanks !

Hi @Joriq,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I am sorry to hear that the warranty details for your product are not correctly updated. As per your purchase, the product was bought in January 2025, but the warranty information currently reflects an end date of April 2025. This discrepancy is concerning.

I would request you to file a dispute attaching the original invoice in order to get the warranty updated as per your Invoice.

Please check this document and follow the steps to raise the warranty dispute: Click Here

Also please refer to this link to check the warranty status

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Pallipurath,

I already tried to dispute the warranty status online using the form but I am not able to do so. As I mentioned in my original post, I do not have the "dispute this" button, there is no "dispute" functionality appearing to me in the warranty page.

This is how the page looks to me, with no "dispute" options:
