Hp Zbook 15v G5. I need to change my graphics card which is Nvidia P2000. I need it for D5 Render Program, which doesnt allow startup with this graphics card.
In the manual said that I can change it for a AMD Radeon Pro WX 4150, but is not supoted by the software neither. Can I change for the newer AMD Radeon Pro W6800 (or W6600?)
Thaks for your help!

The only discrete graphics module your workstation that your ZBook 15v G5 workstation is delivered with is the NVIDIA® Quadro® P600, according to the available HP documentation.
I have not seen any forum or manual where mention is made of installing a AMD Radeon W6800 (or W6600) graphics module.
The ZBook 15 G5 does have the AMD Radeon Pro WX 4150, NVIDIA Quadro P1000 or NVIDIA Quadro P2000 discrete graphics modules as options.
Would you have any insights on which discrete graphics card upgrades for the Hp Zbook 15v G5 are feasible?

MXM video card upgrades are a bit of a gray art. I would suggest contacting someone who deals with it regularly like this amazon seller:

Officially, the W6800 or W6600 is not compatible but its not impossible it can be made to work.

Unfortunately, it IS impossible for Aleturbina to upgrade his GPU, since the 15inch G5s (and up) have their discrete graphics card soldered on the motherboard, along with the CPU. That's why their manual lists different motherboards for different CPU/GPU combinations.

The spec sheet for the 15v gives the P600 as the available discrete GPU and the manual gives the P620..... 😀
But I'm pretty sure Aleturbina is talking about the 15 zbook with a P2000 though (not P200 obviously). Right?
