my zbook 17g3 that is still under warranty is no longer recognized to be compatible with solidworks 2020 due to the nvidia m2000m. Is there any upgrade to for the video card to be compatible with Solidworks 2020? If not HP;as one of the Solidworks partners should put pressure on SW to include the zbook g3 series.

Compatible nVidia cards for Zbook 17 G3 go up to M5000M. I believe even it may not be Kepler compatible, as required to run Solidworks 2020. HP can't pressure a software publisher to make its new, very demanding software backward compatible with hardware that is just not capable of running it. So its not gonna happen. You need an nVidia K series video card apparently. If you want some help figuring if it can be made to work on the G3 just post back. I have a Zbook 15 G3 with an M2000M but I am not trying to run software quite as demanding as Solidworks 2020.

The only possible card that may work would be the m2200 or the m1200, but not sure it is compatible from the research I did. SW 2020 shows compatible with 17g4 model with the M2200. I am open to new Ideas.
