I have tried multiple things. When we first got this laptop for our son to use for school, it would shut off when moved. Now it shuts off when you put any pressure on the palm rest.  I've taken the laptop apart and tested it taken apart. When you take it apart touching the palm rest doesn't cause it to crash but any pressure put on the motherboard over the processor cause it to crash. I have reseated all of the cables. How do I reset the processor? If that is the cause. Or tips and tricks to make this stop. We have to have the laptop with all of the kids here doing remote schooling.

This happens sometimes. If a laptop is carried by the corner and heavy stress is placed on the motherboard it can develop very small cracks that only open up when pressure is reapplied. Reseating the CPU will not be possible as the CPU is soldered onto the motherboard. Motherboard replacement is the only sure repair.
