Product: Envy x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I plugged in a powered USB bank and it basically short-circuited my USB 3.0 port on the right hand side (in-between the HDMI And type-c ports). My laptop automatically rebooted. And immediately no USB devices would work on that port anymore (minutes ago it was working via direct connection). The HDMI is working ok, luckily. The type-c USB port I am not sure about as I don't have any devices that use that port.
My laptop's Product number: 3VU72UA#ABA
Any idea what the part number, etc is for me to buy a replacement part and I will open the laptop and install the replacement myself (it is no longer under warranty)?

I will answer my own qn ..
looks like the USB port are part of the motherboard 😫
For now I have bought a type-c USB hub hoping that the usb-c port is functional and hence I can use that to get additional [and fast] ports
otherwise I am left with just one USB (2.0?) port
