Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP laptop 15-db0005dx is 1 month old.

Suddenly, for no apparent reason at all, my cooling fan runs continuosly.

I have tried restarting it, I have tried closing all apps, Task manager shows 1-2% cpu usage.  Even when it is suspended in the air and not resting on anything the fan runs.

First time I have ever purchased an HP...I am hoping you have a fix for the problem as the fan is really noisy and annoying!

Thanks,

Arctic Al

Anybody?

Cooling fan running 5200 rpm continuosly.

cpu usage 1-2%  I got the temp down to 28*c and the fan still runs.

Bought this cpu 1 month ago.  It has sat on my desk since purchase.

I Cannot get support from HP that solves the problem and no answers here...

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

Any recent hardware or software changes made to your PC?

That said, Did you know that Generally, when temperatures inside the case rise above 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit), the risk of damaging important internal components increases greatly?

Let's start off by updating the Bios, Chipset and Graphics card drivers on your PC either from our HP support website, or download it using HP Support Assistant.

To download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
