Hello, I have a hp laptop that I am trying to bios flash. I install the usb stick correctly and plug it into my laptop at bootup and it loads than gives me an error message "we could not locate the target partition (14)". Hope this gets to the right person. Thank you.

We will need to know the full model number of the laptop. How did you make the memory stick? Is the laptop still loaded with the factory Windows 11 install or did you do it yourslef?

Yes the factory install has a special partition to hold the BIOS .bin file during flash. You know you can download and flash from the internet in Windows, right? If you do not want to do that you have to install the UEFI diagnostics on the laptop which will create the HP_Tools partition:
