Hi:

Unfortunately HP does not release any info on what notebooks have BIOS whitelists.

Generally, most notebooks made in 2014 or later do not have whitelists, but there are a few that do.

We don't know which of the few have the whitelists.

The only way we find out if wifi cards not listed in the service manuals work is if someone tries installing a different model wifi card in a notebook and reports the results.

I can't find any discussions regarding wifi card upgrades in your notebook's model series since all of them came with dual band AC wifi cards such as yours, and folks are content with that.

So if you want to experiment with upgrading the wifi card, I recommend an Intel card and it must be non-vPro.  That is very important.

A suggested model and part number you can try would be this one...

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # L35282-005.

You should be able to find this model wifi card on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

I live in turkey and in the TR online stores does not say whether the product is vpro or non-vpro. how can i understand if the card is vpro.

Do you have a picture of the card you are looking at?

The SPS# on the card's label should determine whether or not the card is vPro or non-vPro when you look it up.

Hi:

Those are both non-vPro cards as the SPS# you see on the label (L35282-005) matches the part number I posted.

The vPro model is L35284-005

Today I installed the Intel ax200 wifi6 card on my HP Pavilion 15-CX0044NT model computer and now the card is working fine now.You can see the model and numbers of the product I bought in the picture below.
