My friend just gave me broken HP mini 210. I manage to fix it and install lubuntu 18.04, tried 20.04 and 22.10 but too slow for old netbook laptop.
I'm thinking to improve the performance by using SSD but I do not want to lose the HDD. I try putting mSATA SSD on the empty slot for WWAN. Apparently it does not work, the slot does not support mSATA. I'm thinking how about the slot for WiFi card, does this slot support mSATA? I do not have mSATA half size SSD to try. I wonder if anyone ever try before I purchase one myself.
Thank you,
Robertus

No all the PCIe slots are for wifi or WWAN respectively and will not recognize a storage device. Most Mini 210s have a mechanical 2.5 inch hard drive which can be replaced with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. What is your exact model?
