OMEN 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-en1000 (2L1F1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

When the cpu and gpu in my hp omen 15 r5 doing heavy loads like playing games the battery drains 6% every hour even when plugged in .

Is that a hybrid power mode when the gpu and cpu drains power from battery and ac adapter in heavy loads ?

i did check the battery and ac adapter in uefi diagnostic and it says nothing was wrong with it. I did the tests with all components and it says nothing was wrong. I updated to latest bios version.

is something wrong with laptop or are hybrid power normal in heavy loads in games and apps ?

My components are ryzen 5 5600h and nvidia rtx 3060

Sounds like the AC Adapter is under wattage rating for your machine. Is it still under warranty ? If yes, please contact HP in your country to have a new adapter (charger).

Regards.
