Hp omen battery SD06XL required

Hello,

I want a new original battery as my old one is giving CMOS checksum 502 error. I stay in India and I asked HP official customer service on toll number to provide me a battery and they sent me a used one with only 600 cycle counts that too after charging an exorbitant price. The battery from amazon does not have a manufacturing date and the one from flipkart seems to look a little off with its markings.

Can someone please help me find a new original battery? Or even know an international shop that would ship it to Mumbai? Thanks

Hi, i am the original poster of the question from a different email id. I ordered from amazon but did not receive a manufacturing date on battery, i ordered from flipkart and the manufacturing date was just a sticker. The original battery that i have in laptop has manufacturing date printed on it on the black paper.

can you please recommend another helpful way from where i can buy battery? I am urgently in need of it

The battery diagnostic test in HP Support assistant or in the preboot UEFI will provide the manufacturing date of the battery as read from its smart chip. 

This is the HP Part Number of the battery:

6 cell, 70 Wh L84392-006

For some reason genuine HP batteries are hard to find in India. Here is a compatible from amazon in which you may have already tried:

Thank you for your reply, Huffer. I placed an order on the amazon link you replied, thank you for that link. Earlier I had ordered amazon wistar batter.

Someone earlier mentioned buying from ubuy, they ship the battery from usa. However, i see a lot of distributors and I am unable to tell which is genuine. In case the wefly amazon battery doesn’t work, can you please help me out to place an order on ubuy.
