Hey everyone,
I just got my hands on a HP pavilion 13 an0031 laptop. it has a USB TYPE-C port and according to HP:
"1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 2 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge"
It didn't come with a USB TYPE-C charger as standard and has a 45 W Smart AC adapter. However, as mentioned above, HP says the Type-C port has power delivery. I got a Xiaomi power bank 3 that has a 45 watt type-c port for both input and output and I'm using a type-c to type-c cable to connect it to the laptop. The problem is the power bank does not charge the laptop. As a matter of fact, when the small LED lights on the power bank keep blinking, I think it's the laptop that is charging the power bank!
Could you guys help me out here?

Is it COMPATIBLE with your machine ? Please check with Xiaomi . For HP machines normally you can only use HP chargers because "HP said that that was intentional because a bad charger could damage the device, or cause it to malfunction."
Regards.

Well, I haven't asked Xiaomi yet but I figured since the AC charger that came with the laptop is 45 watts (19.5V 2.3A), My Xiaomi Power bank which delivers the same 45 watts (15V 3A or 20V 2A) would charge it up nicely.
Do you confirm that my Type-C port has power delivery and that mean it can be charged with chargers or power banks other than the standard AC charger?
