Sir, I have hp ab-219tx pavilion series laptop which I bought in 2016. But it has got charging issue from 3 months. Laptop is not charging at all even after connecting to different sockets and adapters. I showed it to shop but came to know there is some problem with motherboard charging circuit. Shopperson replaced charging IC and kept for charging. Charging was started but after 15 mins again charging IC burned. This is happening again and again. All voltages at charging circuit points are correct. Please guide me about this problem. I don't want to replace whole motherboard. Please do the needful sir.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you
