Hp pavilion g6 2250ev

Hello , i want to ask about Hp pavilion g6 2250ev upgrade ram .. I put a second 4gb ram in my laptop but it doesnt "read" it . All programms like speecy , cpuz and others say 8gb but my task manager not .. I run memtest86 for memory error , but after 7pass there are none .. I upgrade the bios on the last one F.2A but still nothing ! 
What can i do ??

Please try these steps:

 

Hold down the Windows Key and press R, 
Type msconfig in the Run box (or Search box) and hit Enter,
In the System Configuration windows, click the Boot tab,
Click the Advanced Options button,
Un-stick the box next to 'Maximum Memory',
Click OK,
Click Apply and then OK to get out,
Restart the notebook for the change to take effect.
