Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Need to upgrade ram, extra slot available 

Need to know additional 4gb ram or 8gb ram can be added. 

Specifications or suggestions about the ram .

Those who have upgraded,p ls provide details

Here is the Manual:

See p. 58. The Manual says 12 gigs is the maximum but this is not so. It would actually handle 2 x 16 gigs = 32 gigs in total of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM. But the part that makes it beyond the ability of most users to upgrade is the configuration. To get at the memory module slots you have to take out the motherboard and flip it over. You see this on the back after you remove the heat shield covering the slots:

The same is true of the M.2 SSD; also under the motherboard. 

 

I would suggest installing a pair of whatever memory you may decide to buy. Crucial offers 4 gig, 8 gig and 16 gig modules at this link from amazon.com:
