Hello i have a hp probook 4535s and it is very slow and i want to upgrade it so i wanted to ask that can the cpu of my laptop be removed/upgraded. and i have another question that why the cpus of laptops are so cheap?

Hi,

On page 85 of service manual you can see the compatible CPUs and the steps to replace it.

You could probably replace the Hard Drive with an SSD which would give a boost to the everyday performance of the notebook.

 

Why are notebook CPUs so cheap. Most likely as there is not much demand and lots of them available.
